Bardstown Bourbon Company has expanded its core offerings and is now offering bourbon enthusiasts a High Wheat Bourbon.
Bardstown’s High Wheat Bourbon, the result of years of innovation, is comprised of one of the highest percentage wheated mashbills in the bourbon category at 39%.
An Elegant And Complex Bourbon
Origin High Wheat, the second wheated bourbon in the Origin Series, is comprised of 53% corn, 39% wheat, 8% malted barley.
Aged for six years, High Wheat is bottled at 106 proof (53% alc. by volume).
Combined with a low barrel entry proof, meant to extract maximum wood sugars, Bardstown’s High Wheat Bourbon features ripe apricot and lemon, resting on leather and crème brûlée on the nose.
On the tongue, a bold palate of oak and pastry leads to a lightly spiced, yet full-bodied finish.

Full Lineup Offering
In time for the holidays, Bardstown Bourbon Company is releasing an Origin Series Experience Tasting Kit.
This kit will allow fans to explore the brand’s core product line through four distinct whiskeys, including the brand’s award-winning Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Wheated Bottled-in-Bond, Double-Barreled Rye Whiskey, and High Wheat Bourbon.
The full series boasts three multi-Double Gold award winners and the highest rated bourbon in the world, the 98-point Origin Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Following the series’ initial release, Bardstown Bourbon Company was named 2023 IWSC Worldwide Whiskey Producer of the Year.
The tasting kit, available in 50mL bottles, has a suggested price of $34.99 and can be found in all Bardstown Bourbon Company markets.
