Bowling Green’s Houchens Industries, Inc. recently finalized the acquisition of Michigan-based H.H. Barnum Company.
Founded in 1946, H.H. Barnum Company is a distributor of products, solutions, and controls for factory and warehouse automation.
Tremendous Growth Capital
Houchens, which was founded in 1917, operates more than 13 companies in various industries including retail, manufacturing, construction and insurance.
The acquisition of H.H. Barnum Company allows Houchens to diversify the company’s portfolio.

This is the first acquisition announcement in 2024 for Houchens, who acquired Feeders Pet Supply and Air Hydro Power in 2023.
