The team at a Louisville-based medical practice specializing in the integrative cellular and regenerative medicine approach to health is expanding.
Medical Transformation Center, located in Anchorage, recently welcomed Dr. Alexa Davis to the team.
Expanding The Team
Dr. Davis is the first physician to be added to the practice, which was co-founded in 2014 by Dr. Carl and Terri Paige.
Davis is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine where she recently completed her residency in family medicine.
She will work with patients to address the cause(s) of their issues, instead of simply the symptoms – offering a combination of tools from allopathic, functional, regenerative and cellular medicines.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Davis to MTC! She has so much energy and passion for this field,” said Terri Paige, CEO, Medical Transformation Center. “Anyone we add to our team has to share our vision and maintain the integrity of our work. We have been thinking about expanding our team, so it was excellent timing that Alexa was completing her education. The opportunity is a confluence of all the right things.”
First-Hand Experience
While a pre-med student at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Davis began experiencing gut and autoimmune issues.
After seeking answers from a host of different medical practitioners, but finding none, Davis was introduced to Medical Transformation Center and Dr. Carl Paige.
Paige worked with Davis to discover the root causes of her issues, implementing an improved lifestyle and diet, as well as cellular and regenerative therapies.
Her health radically improved, and her vision of what healthcare could look like was changed.
“In some ways, my own health struggle was a blessing. It introduced me to a new way of approaching patient care – to really look at the whole person and get to the true cause of their issue then build treatment protocols that will improve their health, not just treat symptoms,” said
Dr. Alexa Davis. “I look forward to working with and learning from Dr. Paige who is a true pioneer in the field of cellular and regenerative medicine.”
Dr. Davis is working on a fellowship in Anti-Aging and Metabolic Medicine (FAAMM) from the Metabolic Medical Institute, part of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and will pursue advanced training at the Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute
(SSRP).
Davis was born and raised in Louisville and is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.
