Kentucky Kingdom recently announced that 2025 will bring new experiences to the park, including new rides, attractions and dining options aimed to bring more fun for every member of the family.
The park is expanding on new land, which represents an $11 million investment to delivering unforgettable family experiences.

This project is the first part of Kentucky Kingdom’s $25 million investment over the next two seasons.
Highlights of the new land include:
- Three all-new, family-friendly rides
- 10 re-themed rides with a Kentucky twist
- A brand-new playground with 4,800 square feet, perfect for younger guests
- Two reimagined dining locations, serving up delicious local flavors
“As a family-centered park, we’re dedicated to creating spaces that bring loved ones together, and this new land is our way of celebrating our Kentucky roots while offering exciting new experiences for our guests,” said Sarah Worrell, Kentucky Kingdom General Manager. “Our hosts are so excited to share what we have in store for next season, but we also want everyone to know that there is even more on the way for Kentucky Kingdom soon.”
Details of the three brand-new rides include:
- Train Ride (Name Coming Soon): Hop aboard our family-friendly train that winds through the wilderness. Spot and hear the furry friends who call this beautiful landscape home as you embark on this delightful journey!
- Bird Ride (Name Coming Soon): Get ready to dash through the trees on our new swinging family ride inspired by one of Kentucky’s famous flyers. With an oval-shaped course and thrilling turns, this ride promises an exciting adventure for guests of all ages.
- Squirrel Ride (Name Coming Soon): Bounce around on our new family ride nestled in the lush gardens of the new land. This delightful experience highlights one of nature’s most diligent and resourceful foragers, promising fun for the entire family.
