ShelbyKY Tourism, the convention and visitors bureau for Shelbyville, Simpsonville, and Shelby County, Kentucky, has welcomed a new employee to manage events within the Shelbyville Conference Center.
Taylor Draper has joined the team in the role of Sales and Event Manager.
A Premier Venue
Draper is responsible for organizing, managing, and booking all events held within the state-of-the-art center.
Draper’s event-management experience comes from her work in ministry.
She is a former youth pastor and is still an ordained pastor who loves meeting and getting to know people.
The Shelbyville Conference Center, which is managed by ShelbyKY Tourism, is centrally located to Louisville, Frankfort, and Lexington and offers more than 16,000-square-feet of space spread over one floor.
The center has a capacity of 400 for a banquet or 600 in a theatre-style setting, is competitively priced and has an open-catering policy.
It’s a popular location for all types of events in the Louisville area, from celebrations to trade shows and business meetings.
Active bookings are being made for 2025 and 2026, with some repeat events scheduled through 2030.
