Sweet, sweet summertime brings longer days and warmer temperatures, and for many summer unleashes the need for adventure.
If your type of adventure is a road-trip, Roadtripzee is a website you are going to want to visit before making your plans.
Real People, Real Trips
Roadtripzee, created by Rachelle and Tony Wright, is a website featuring travel journals detailing trips taken by real people.
The Wrights launched Roadtripzee in 2022 to build on the success of their former website KentuckyRoadTrips.com.
While the Wrights are travel and social media pros who live in Kentucky, Roadtripzee reaches far beyond the Bluegrass State.
The website contains more than 40 journals detailing trip from 12 states including California, Maine, North Carolina, Oregon, Georgia and many more.
“Humans crave the shared experience and Roadtripzee taps into that psychology. Our community loves to share first-hand travel information with others,” says Roadtripzee Co-founder Rachelle Wright. “Our team is filled with people who love to travel, love to write, and love to tell a story. Their journals, photos, and videos resonate with our community because they are real tales of the road, captured and told.”
The Roadtripzee website is newly improved and the timing for the platform’s enhancements comes as the popularity of road trips soars.
Research from Deloitte shows seven in ten U.S. travelers plan to take a road trip this year, up from 57% in 2023.
Sharing Travel Information
Not only can users get travel information through the website and newsletter, but the Wrights have built an active Facebook Group with more than 135,000 members.
“The Facebook Groups have become lively forums for road-trippers to share information among themselves. They are positive places where people have authentic interactions and are inspired to take their own journeys,” said Tony Wright.
The full list of states featured on Roadtripzee includes:
