Putting Lexington On The Map

The KTIA Traverse Awards honor the talent, creativity, and effectiveness of its members’ marketing and public relations efforts.

VisitLEX earned the Award of Distinction – Division C for the Spring Campaign, Bet You Thought.

This top honor, awarded to only one Convention Visitors Bureau per budget category, is one of the most coveted accolades presented at the event.

The public relations initiative, Hey Aliens! Look at Lexington, won a gold award.

This campaign was designed to highlight travel to Lexington in a fun way by highlighting STEM initiatives and education and the iconic Kentucky Horse Park, which generated global buzz.

“Our talented and dedicated team at VisitLEX is truly passionate about showcasing the best of Lexington,” said Mary Quinn Ramer, President of VisitLEX. “These awards reflect the dedication of our marketing and sales teams, as well as the unique attractions that make Lexington a special place for both visitors and locals.”
